A Fallen Star
Updated: Aug 3, 2020

With heavy hearts we remember our recently departed. Gibson Vaughn Cardosa was Valkyrie Foundation's first ever and hardest working volunteer. Gibson enthusiastically signed on at the inception of the Valkyrie Foundation, was essential in scouting and enlisting the volunteers for our first fundraising event and shined as a group leader and organizer during Valkyrie's Pink Party for Breast Cancer Awareness, helping us raise over $24,000 in contributions for the cause and offer financial aid to a local community breast cancer victim.
Tragically, in the early morning hours on July 25 2020, Gibson's motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on his way home from work and after a valiant fight for his life, Gibson succumbed to his injuries.
Gibson Vaughn Cardosa was a selfless and caring warrior for humanity and will be missed by all he blessed with his presence.
To honor the memory of our first and favorite Volunteer, Valkyrie Foundation has started the GIBSON V. CARDOSA MEMORIAL FUND, to benefit those surviving friends and loved ones he has left behind.
